TriboDel Pro

Next generation Tribaloy®
by Deloro Wear Solutions

Next generation high-entropic Tribaloy® alloy

Durable, resistant, indispensable – Tribaloy alloys have been regarded as the benchmark for extreme stresses and strains. With TriboDel Pro, we are now presenting the next generation of these proven materials.

TriboDel Pro minimises wear even under extreme conditions and significantly extends the service life of critical components. Wherever conventional alloys reach their limits, TriboDel Pro offers a high-performance, durable solution, long-lasting solution.

Why TriboDel Pro alloy?

Deloro has developed a new high-performance alloy called TriboDel Pro specifically for use under the extreme conditions of biogas operation. Where conventional materials quickly reach their limits.

Resistant in ammonia atmosphere in accordance with ISO 50916-2; particularly relevant to industries where alloy components are exposed to wet ammonia atmospheres under tensile stress. This includes ammonia refrigeration, fertilizer/ammonia production, petrochemical processing, industrial chemical plants, plus facilities specializing in material testing, coating verification, and regulatory compliance.

Durable, resistant, indispensable – Tribaloy alloys have been regarded as the benchmark for extreme stresses and strains. With TriboDel Pro, we are now presenting the next generation of these proven materials.

Focus application: Valve seat rings

Valve Seat Rings for Biogas Applications – Years of Practical Experience and Optimized Service Life

Our valve seat rings have been successfully used in biogas engines for many years and have proven their worth under a wide variety of operating conditions. The continuous development of materials and manufacturing processes now enables a significant increase in service life: While typical operating hours used to be around 3,000 per year, Deloro’s solutions now achieve values of over 20,000 hours per year. This improvement not only reduces the frequency of maintenance intervals but also contributes significantly to the cost-effectiveness of plant operation.

A key advantage of our valve seat rings is their high flexibility with regard to changing fuels and operating conditions. Biogas can vary considerably depending on its origin and processing – from methane content and sulfur content to moisture and impurities. Our alloy is designed to deliver stable performance even under these variable conditions. This is achieved through the use of specially formulated alloys and optimized geometries that reliably compensate for both thermal stresses and abrasive influences.

Furthermore, operators benefit from lower maintenance costs. Extended service life reduces the need for spare parts and minimizes downtime for maintenance work. This leads to higher plant availability and a significant reduction in operating costs over the entire service life.

Technical features at a glance:

  • Proven materials for high temperature and corrosion resistance
  • Optimized manufacturing for precise fits and long service life
  • Adaptability to different gas qualities and engine designs
  • Reduced maintenance costs through extended maintenance intervals

With this combination of durability, flexibility, and cost-effectiveness, our valve seat rings offer a reliable solution for demanding applications in biogas engines.

How Deloro can support your project:

Extend the service life of your components

Enable power reserves in your components
