Deloro Welding Equipment impresses with its close cooperation with customers in the individual configuration of PTA welding systems. Our systems are precisely tailored to specific requirements, including the development of optimum welding processes and their characteristics for each task. Intuitive operation via a modern man-machine interface, highest safety standards in accordance with the European Machinery Directive 2006/42 and uncompromising quality characterise our solutions. With a broad range of accessories “Made in Germany”, we set standards in PTA welding and provide a tailored solution for each application.

Our systems benefit from triple synergy. With the in-house system and software development in combination with individually tailored torches and the high-quality Deloro consumable materials, we are capable to achieve optimum results for users. The close interconnection of internal development, tailored torch solutions and the proven Deloro materials ensure highest efficiency and quality for every application.

Our patented calculation logic enables constant arc energy through precisely adjusted motion parameters. Even if the diameter of the component changes, the specific arc energy stays constant. Hence, we can always ensure the same overlay properties independent of the workpiece’s geometry, even with high component variance. This ensures maximum process safety and a consistently high weld hardfacing or cladding quality.

We do not only build welding systems and supply these with powder consumables: We have an in-house job shop, in which we tackle new challenges daily. This has deepened our internal expertise in a wide variety of applications, complex geometries and the weldability of different materials and components. If required, we can also weld customer prototypes for targeted application-related developments.

System for Plasma Transferred Arc Weld (PTAW) deposition for manual and automatic applications

The BASIC LINE was developed to provide a high-quality and reliable welding system either for integration into an already existing periphery or as standalone manual PTA unit. The robust and space-saving design integrates all required hardware components into one compact unit. A mobile operating panel ensures simple operation. Thanks to the modular design, a later upgrade from manual to automatic welding is easy. The BASIC LINE enables a high-quality and reproducible execution of the welding process, also under demanding production conditions. Due to its modular upgradeability, it is an excellent entry unit at a favourable price.

…is a compact system for automatic Plasma Transferred Arc Weld (PTAW) deposition on small to medium-sized components.

The COMPACT LINE is the ideal solution for the cladding or hardfacing of small and medium-sized components. It impresses with a high-quality reliable welding system with PLC-controlled torch as well as automated workpiece manipulation. All required hardware components are integrated into a robust, compact aluminium frame. Operation is easy via an integrated panel with our standardised user interface. A PLC controls all welding parameters and the workpiece manipulation. With its fully automatic control, the COMPACT LINE combines advanced control technology with high-quality components and thus ensures safe and reliable operation – even for demanding applications.

Customisable system for Plasma Transferred Arc Weld (PTAW) deposition

The PREMIUM LINE was specifically designed for demanding welding tasks. It is suitable for medium-sized to large workpieces with up to 12 m outside and 2 m inner length. These high-quality system solutions provide integrated torch and workpiece manipulation, enable powder changes or mixing during operation and can be extended by customer-specific functions. The control is conveniently provided by means of the Deloro user interface.

The application-oriented machine design ensures that all hardware components can be individually adapted to the conditions on site and the customised component. Process monitoring via camera system is possible. Intuitive operation via the integrated panel with standardised interface and PLC control ensures that all functions are stable and reproducible for the welding process incl. parameter and workpiece manipulation.

Systems for PTA weld deposition on engine valves.

The VALVE LINE is a fully automated system, which was specifically developed for combustion engine valve hardfacing. It is tailored to the requirements of the motor industry and processes a wide range of valve sizes. The solution combines high-quality welding technology with integrated torch and workpiece manipulation as well as additional customer-specific functions that are controlled centrally via a PLC. The VALVE LINE is used worldwide by numerous manufacturers of exhaust valves and impresses with its reliability, high productivity and consistently excellent deposit quality.

Spare parts: Highly available and fast delivery

Deloro Welding Equipment supplies spare parts for all Deloro welding systems, PTA torches and the Deloro powder feeders – even years after initial delivery. In our factory in Koblenz we have a comprehensive spare parts warehouse for quick availability of your welding system, e.g. drive components, all required cables and hoses as well as spare parts for the JetKoteTM HVOF gun.

The torches of Deloro Welding Equipment have been developed for particularly easy and long-lasting handling. They are suitable for the coating of small structures as well as large areas. Depending on the welding assignment, there is a choice of different designs, as well as different electrodes, inert gas and plasma nozzles. The torch portfolio comprises internal torches for components with a bore diameter from 25 mm, up to solid designs with high cooling rate for highest thermal loads, as well as external torches for standard welding assignments and many special designs for every challenge. All torches are supplied with a spare part starter kit and tube package in the desired length.

Our proven heavy-duty gear feed system ensures clean, consistent and pulsation-free operation. The precise dosing system ensures a consistent feed rate of no less than 2 g per minute – entirely without pulsing. The transparent powder container enables easy and quick control of the fill level and can be easily loaded and unloaded. In addition, an integrated sensor warns the operator in time if the powder level is low. The flow rate can be easily and efficiently calibrated in combination with the central control unit (PLC).

remote service and online support

With the online factory support for your Deloro welding systems you will get professional support in real-time via live video call – reliable also at low bandwidth and directly on your welding system on site. Using the DELORO SHARE platform, you can resolve issues on machines and systems directly by video with our specialised technicians. A dedicated website enables remote maintenance, troubleshooting or training with a Deloro expert. Additional information on remote maintenance via Internet or phone, on error analysis and helpful information for further work with the system can be found in the flyer of the DELORO SHARE PLATFORM. The welding documentation can be individually adapted to operational requirements, while an easy-to-operate user interface intuitively guides the operator through the setup process.

Intuitive operation

The Deloro HMI-System WeldControl Pro

The interface between man and machine is made up of a user-friendly touchscreen and a separate control panel. This enables redundant control of the axis movements, welding current and powder parameters. Different access rights are assigned for user management via personalised RFID keys, ensuring safe operation of the system.
Operation of the human-machine interface (HMI) is particularly easy to follow thanks to graphic displays of selectable geometries. This enables the user to configure and start a welding process in the shortest time.

Movement profiles for automatic welding for specific welding assignments specify how the weld head moves along the weld seam, to ensure consistently high quality and precision. They are created in advance based on the requirements of the respective welding assignment and fed into the control software. For users, this means that the welding process is automated with repeat accuracy.

Teach-In of welding lines for different weld geometries. The objective is to enable an automated, reproducible and high-quality weld for different workpiece moulds.

Here, the movement or speed specifications are forwarded electronically to the slaves, so that these work synchronously or according to certain specifications.

User roles and authorisation levels with RFID chip enable different operating modes (production, development, maintenance) and are intended for operational and occupational safety.

The chronological process visualisation helps to comprehensively depict complex processes, detect weak points as well as make responsibilities and interfaces transparent. For our customers it is a central tool to analyse, optimise and efficiently control processes.

The ability to share the control panel view of external PCs within the company, without a user needing to directly sit on the machine or the local terminal, facilitates cooperation and enables efficient monitoring and control of processes.
